Book for the 2018 Annual Conference

Bookings for the 2018 conference are now closed.

For helpful advice about how to travel to Nottingham, and to download a map of the University Park campus where the conference will take place, please visit How to find us. You may also find these answers to common questions helpful:

*Accommodation will be in Ancaster Hall of Residence and Cavendish Hall of Residence
*Car parking is free, although we encourage participants to travel by public transport as much as possible. A PDF parking permit, specific to our event, will be made available to conference delegates nearer the time
*Each study bedroom is ensuite and contains a single bed.
*Tea and coffee making facilities, plus a towel, are provided in each bedroom
*Check-in is available from 3pm on Monday 09 April; check-out is by 10am on Thursday 12 April
*If you wish to come to SST with a spouse or partner, you have two options. You can either book and pay for two separate rooms and then share a bedroom (for fire safety reasons Nottingham are not allowed to sell single rooms as double occupancy) or else you can make your own accommodation arrangements. If you wish to arrive on Sunday 08 April you will not be able to stay in SST's conference accommodation as Nottingham do not open the Halls of Residence for a handful of guests. Again, in this instance, please make your own plans. On the same campus as SST, we recommend Cripps Hall Annexe or the Orchard Hotel. Further away, on the Jubilee campus, the Jubilee Conference Centre is more expensive but very good. From here, it is a 5-7 minute car ride to the Trent Building, where the conference will be held. Alternatively, this website is recommended by the Nottingham Event Team.

Additional information - such as where to meet, collect name badges, and so on - will be provided in the pre-conference email.
